We warmly welcome you to the website of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ukiah California. Seventh-day Adventists are first and foremost Christians who believe that salvation comes through belief and faith in Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. The Bible is the foundation for our beliefs and practices, teaching us that God has an eternal love for everyone in the human family. The name "Seventh-day Adventist" comes from two rather distinctive teachings of our church. The word "Adventist" means that we believe in Jesus' promise that He would return to earth with power and great glory to take to heaven those who have faith in Him. The term "Seventh-day" refers to our belief that the biblical Sabbath, the seventh day of the week, is still God's holy day for rest and worship. Because of this, we hold our worship services on Saturday, celebrating the fact that Jesus Christ is our Creator, and the source of our spiritual re-creation. We would be delighted to have you join us on any Saturday morning, or to stop by our offices during the week. Continue looking on this web page for information about who we are, where and when to find us. We would love to connect with you. May God bring the blessings of His grace into your life as you seek to experience His love and guidance. |
